Table for None brings together the ceramic works of Ana Botezatu, Kalut, Lorena Cocioni, My Golem, Solid Matter, and Victoria Finala, each contributing a distinct formal and conceptual language to the exhibition. Through these varied practices, the presentation unfolds as a collective meditation on objecthood, presence, and the poetics of display.
At the center of the gallery, a table is meticulously arranged as a refined mise en place, composed of singular, handcrafted pieces that oscillate between function and sculptural autonomy. The installation navigates the tension between abundance and absence, staging a table prepared for a gathering that never takes place. In doing so, it reflects on the performative nature of ritual and celebration, revealing an underlying sense of melancholy and an awareness of the existential void embedded within such gestures.
